Escher Sculpture Park: Video Walkthrough
Escher Sculpture Park November 3, 2021
This task involved designing an underground sculpture park in the square in front of the Escher Museum in Den Haag, the Netherlands. The design utilizes a Voronoi grid to subdivide spaces into sub-spaces and generate a
circulation route for the visitors in the manner of a gradually descending ramp. The irregular nature of the grid produces both large and small viewing galleries for visitors to view the sculptures- which are chosen to be elegant light fixtures with a golden-glazed finish such that they illuminate at night.
